I can still remember the first time I saw him. He was walking down the hall in the dim ambiance of the lobby. My girlfriend Veronica and I went back to our room. Dominic was a friend of Veronica’s family and she asked what I thought of him. I couldn't help but think of how he caught my eye from such a far distance. He was perfect for me but I brushed it off and didn't expect anything to happen. It was hard for me to sleep that night, thinking about how this stranger made me feel.
The next morning we both woke up to a knock on our hotel room door. It was Dominic asking us out to breakfast. We all had so much fun that day and it seemed like there was not enough time spent between the two of us. After fun times and small talk, my magical weekend was over and Dominic walked me to my car. We exchanged numbers, talked on the phone and started seeing each other the following week! Here we are now, years later planning our wedding! |
